hi, anyone there?

not sure how to work this but i'm looking for some help/advice..

my father is 68 years old and had a very exhausting day (we're on vacation) he apparently fell out of bed a little while ago (around 1:30 am). he was extremely disoriented and unable to get himself back up. I lifted him onto the edge of the bed and held him until the paramedics got there. They arrived and all his vitals were good, by this point he was able to answer their questions, and stand up on his own (very wobbly though). They wanted him to go the hostpital but of course he didnt want to. As soon as they left he seemed to get disoriented again, i got him back into his bed, and he immediately fell asleep, i'm sitting here next to him, just monitering. He seems to be in a real real deep sleep, there could be a band playing in the room right now and i dont think he'd wake up, his breathing seems pretty good though. I'm really worried about him, do you have any ideas on what might have happened? The only thing I can think is that he just overdid it today.
