What Causes Dizziness And Black Outs?

Hi,I am starting to have dizzy spells more frequently recently. I used to have them a lot before,to the point where I would black out.that stopped years ago,dizzy spells reduced. And now its back,everyday,specially when i stretch.I've had my blood pressure checked and it was normal.

Regarding your concern, you should know that your symptoms could be related to epilepsy seizures or low blood pressure.

I recommend you to closely monitor your blood pressure frequently during the day. Some tests are needed to investigate for the possible causes:

- an EEG
- complete blood count for anemia
- a resting ECG
- blood electrolytes for possible electrolyte imbalance.

You should discuss with your GP on the above tests.
