What Causes Dizziness And Drained Feeling After Meals?

Often lately, I've been rather light-headed and drained of energy after eating lunch (when I mostly notice it) right about 1 - 2 hours after eating. I'm currently overweight and concerned about blood sugar levels, and diabetes but, that all checked out okay on my last fasting lab 3 months ago. What could be the cause??

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Based on your symptoms I would also suspect diabetes. I would recommend you to check glycated haemoglobin. It is an examination to confirm the blood sugar level for the past tree months.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
