What Causes Dizziness And Fainting After Consumption Of Coffee?

my 79 year old mother gets dizzy and faints after drinking a 1/2 cup of coffee,it's becoming quite an occurance and she has ended up in emergency room,had ecg's had ultrasound on her heart only medication she is on is Oroxin( 5 mg) and has just function test which showed normal,blood pressure and sugar's all ok ,we are perplexed as this has come on quiet fast .

Based on your query, my opinion is as follows.
1. It could be swallowing syncope.
2. Esophageal disorders or pharyngeal disorders sometimes is known to cause this.
3. Will require tests to assess any pathological cause. Anti-cholingergics will be useful in preventing syncope attacks. More details necessary for further opinion.
