What Causes Dizziness And Lethargy After Having Diltiazem?

My husband is on Diltiazem 360 long acting after having a valve replacement. He couldn t take Toprol as he has a history of asthma like symptoms. He is mildly dizzy and feels lethargic and can t get out of his way, Will reducing the dose help or a change in medication.

I really appreciate your concern, asthma may be due to cardiac condition and changing the dose of medicine may not cause any benefit and better to get done the cardiac evolution test in my opinion this is most advisable and some time such condition may need bronchodilator, diuretic, digitalized, drugs, hope this information helps, take care.
