What Causes Dizziness And Numbness In Fingers And Toes Post A Course Of Steroids?

Iv just come off steroids due to chest infection ( about 1 week ago ) I m also on champions to quit smoking, been on champ is for 1 month. I feel weird, like Iv come off a ship also my skin feels sought of numb ( only on my fingers and toes and I m also very restless.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you havedizziness and numbness in fingers and toes post a course of steroids . Well the symptoms you mention in query can occur due to many reasons like peripheral neuropathy , diabetes and ear infection . But in your case it seems to me that the symptoms are due to steroid as its side effects . I would suggest you to consult your doctor for proper examination and rule out other possibilities . Doctor may prescribe antiemetic drug and recommend physical therapy . Doctor may also refer you to endocrinologist or ENT specialist if problem will be related with diabetes or ear related . For now do not bend dorward and drink green tea thrice a day .
