What Causes Dizziness And Numbness On The Hands And Legs With Asthma?

Hi,
I have asthma and have been using symbicort twice a day, It works most of the time, but sometimes if i wait to take it or its a really muggy day I get dizzy, or my hands with go a bit numb. Rarely but occasionally ill get tingles in the side of my face like the feeling when your leg falls asleep. Is this normal? is it just a lack of oxygen?

Hi, thank you for posting!

I have gone through your query and I understand your concerns.

According to your symptoms, I think that they are cause by lack of oxygen in brain (cerebral hypoxia) and anxiety which accompanies this condition.

You can treat your condition by taking anxielitical drugs and chiropractic procedure may also be effective.

Consult your allergologist to discuss more about the treatment.

Hope I helped.

Take care,
Dr. Behar.
