What Causes Dizziness And Sudden Onset Of Memory Issues?

My husband is 66 years old and just came in and said he is feeling light headed and can t remember any of our employees names. We have a trucking company with many employees. He was trying to talk to the workers in the shop and couldn t remember their names. He is also repeating questions that he just asked not 15 minutes before.

Hello!

My name is Dr. Aida and I am glad to attend you on Healthcaremagic!

Your husband symptoms could be related to transient global amnesia episode (which is a benign medical condition).
But I recommend you to bring him to the ER for a physical check up and a brain CT scan to exclude a possible stroke. Some blood lab tests (complete blood count, blood gas analysis, fasting glucose, blood electrolytes) are necessary too.
Meanwhile, it is necessary to measure his blood pressure values and heart rate.
Hope you will find this answer helpful!
Best wishes, Dr. Aida
