What Causes Dizziness And Swelling Of Feet After Having Doridone Domperidone?

Hi, I am Bell. I am taking Doridone Domperidone for my stomach wind for about 2 months. I am suffering legs cramp, swelling of feet, dizziness and menstrual changes now. I don t feel well when I walk. I wish to stop but I am worry my stomach wind is so much until I have difficulty in breathing or other issue. I having completed my antibiotic for bacteria after gastrointestinal endoscopy. Pls advise. Thank you.

Hello and thank you for trusting HCM!

All these symptoms you mentioned are domperidone side effects. It might give you headache, dizziness, menstrual cycle disorders, swelling ankles, irregular heart rate etc. You must see your treating doctor and tell him for these symptoms. Instead of domperidone you may try Ranitidine 150mg twice a day, but your treating doctor may suggest you something else.
