What Causes Dizziness, Fatigue And Breathlessness In A Diabetic?

You mother in law 90 yr old female widowed a year ago diabetic in control and had injury from fall had prolong wound healing. Dizziness, fatiqued, dark stools, Admitted via ED. fluids IV, labs done, low HCT, Bipap On for trouble breathing for short time, 1 unit blood given, endoscopy done. What could be causes

welcome to hcm

1)bleed from your esophagus and stomach gets digested and turns in to dark colored stools.you have to mention endoscopy findings to r/o serious causes of bleeding.considering her age gastro intestinal bleed must be evaluated for tumours.

2)kindly mention her hba1c levels and 2dECHO findings. her breathing problem may be due to fluid filled lungs secondary to heart problem.

3)dizziness and fatigue may be due to low blood pressure secondary to blood loss. i would like to know her vitals
a)blood pressure
b)pulse rate
c)spo2(oxygen saturations)
d) Grbs( glucose levels)
