What Causes Dizziness In Head And Numbness After Closing Eyes?

hi dr i have dizziness in my head along with numbness and wheni sit or close my eyes it is more severe as well as i feel as if my body is swaying to one side as if some one is pulling me and the head feels as though it is being filled with something and gets that heavy that i feel like just dropping it and cannot hold it anymore.

Dizziness and numbness may be indicative of vestibular neuritis, neurological disorder, vitamin and nutritional deficiencies, diabetes, peripheral neuropathy, etc. You should get clinically examined by an ENT, get imaging tests and audiology tests done, get treated. Aniseikonia, can cause disorientation, eyestrain, headache, and dizziness and balance disorders. Get clinically examined by an Eye specialist, if pathology is detected, treatment will be done accordingly.

Dehydration, stressful lifestyle, anxiety, lack of sleep, BP issues, low blood pressure may cause dizziness. You are suggested to stay well hydrated and maintain sodium and potassium balance. Maintain your blood pressure and blood glucose level at all cost. Avoid any heavy work, avoid driving. Stay away from addictions if any.
