What Causes Dizziness When Diagnosed With Hiatal Hernia?

I have been diagnosed with an hiatal hernia and have been prescribed Protonix. I have experienced slight dizziness, mild confusion, and ringing of ears. I have taken the medication for three days. Will these side effects lessen as I get more Protonix in my system?
