General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I read carefully your query and understand your concern.

Selomax 50/5 can cause a dry cough as a side effect.
If the cough is bothersome, I suggest to consult your cardiologist about an alternative treatment.
There are many other classes of medications to treat the high blood pressure.

Hope my answer was helpful.

If you have further queries feel free to contact me again.

Kind regards!
