What Causes Dry Mouth After Using Clonidine Patches For High BP?
I have high blood pressure. Treatment is clonitine patch once weekly to control. My quwation is that med causes my mouth to be exceedingly dry. Especially at night. I drink water all day and wake up at times with dry mouth needing to drink. Change in my dental as having cavities when before this I had no cavities. Is the med with dry mouth causing my problem. If so if I continue with this med I will lose my teeth soon.

it is a well documented adverse and unwanted effect but generally harmless
try using sugar free gum or melt a bit of ice frequently in your mouth, keep your self well hydrated by sips of water and electrolytes
