What Causes Dryness And Burning Sensation On The Hands?

My hands feel slightly dry and I feel this weird hot feeling in my skin that makes me feel a little sick and makes me want to move my hands/arms. If I hold them still the temperature gets uncomfortably warm and I feel the need to move them strongly. It's almost like it's in my hands, the entire hand. If they are warm from not moving them then curling my fingers up hurts a little. Along with an intense jumpy feeling.

Hi,

The possible causes of warmth and dryness in hands are

1. Reflex sympathetic dystrophy.
2. Peripheral neuropathy.
3. Carpal tunnel syndrome.
4. Erythromelalgia.
5. Atopic dermatitis etc.

Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is.

Please consult your doctor, he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
