Hello,

You have developed bruises in your vagina after sexual intercourse. It is hurting you even when you pee. You are suggested to wash the area with warm water once or twice per day. You can also apply a covered ice pack to the area affected to reduce inflammation and discomfort. Avoiding getting any paper towel in the wound. Do not use harsh, perfumed soaps. It can affect the delicate pH balance of your vagina.

You can apply a thin layer of Soframycin ointment on the area affected (apply this ointments only if the bruises are in the outer area around your vulva and its labia) to avoid any allergic response. Wear cotton underwear and loose bottoms until it’s healed. Do not keep touching the area. Avoid scratching. To get rid of discomfort, inflammation and pain you can take over-the-counter pain relievers (Combiflam or Acetaminophen) to reduce discomfort.

Avoid sex for a couple of days till you get healed. Before sexual intercourse you should give time for foreplay and arousal. Taking a warm bath before sexual intercourse helps relax the vaginal muscles. Do not go into penetrative sex until you are wet. You can use lubricants for a better sexual experience. Do not rush into intercourse if your vagina is dry. Stay away from addictions if any.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
