What Causes Dull Throbbing Pain In Upper Quadrant?

Hello Doctor, I am a 43 old female who takes medication fro hypothyroidism, acid reflux, anxiety/depression, asthma, microcscopic colitis and I was just diasnosed with dermatomyositis. I have been having left upper quadrant , dull throbbing pain. Any thoughts? thank you. LIsa.

Considering the medical problems you are suffering my take would be colitis as the most probable cause.
Take anti-spasmodic tablet. it the pain goes away , this is diagnostic as well as therapeutic.
Get a consultation of a Gastroenterologist to review the treatment .
