What Causes Dysuria After Holding Urine For Long?
For past year or so, if I hold my urine too long, to the point of discomfort, I have dysuria for a few days to a week or so afterward. A small amt of WBC s and hematuria on UA, but no bacteria in Culture. This usually clears up and as long as I don t delay voiding, I usually have no problems. Have you heard of this before?

If urine sits too long, if bacteria are present, perhaps it is enough to cause dysuria without being enough to show up on culture.
