What Causes Easy Bruising While On Lexapro And Cymbalta?

I have been treated for 16 years for depression . I take cybalta 120 mg in the am and lexapro 10 mg at night along with 1.0 mg of ativan at night and .5 as needed on stresfull days. I am very figity, legs bruise easily and are often black and blue from figiting. I also clench and grind my teeth all the time. Could all of this be from meds or is there something else going on? I have had talk therapy and EMDR over the years.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Easy bruising is sometimes related to issues with blood supply or clotting.

It would be best to be seen by your doctor for assessment. Blood tests are needed to rule to out a blood borne cause.

I hope this helps.
