What Causes Elderly Faecal Incontinence?

Hi!! My mother is 84 and in the last couple of months she cant have a bowel movement on her own!! I have to use a glycerin suppositer every 4 days!!! She eats well and she doesn't walk and has memory problems!!! I have used miralax, senokot. benefiber, and milk of magnesium!! What should I do?? Increase the named laxatives!! Thank you!!

Thank you for following. I understand your concern.Unfortunately,it happens often in this age. I suggest-
1.Diet correction-add beet roots with olive oil,give oil 1 tablespoon 3 times,keep her hydrated with plenty of water,fresh dahi till 3 days, carrot and beets juice, plums, pumpkin, salad with raw vegetables and sunflower oil.
2.Laxatives-Dufalac 1 tablespoon at night time,bisacodyl suppositorium, Docusate(regulax)-1 tablet in bed time,psillium(Laxmar)
