What Causes Electrical Impulse From Neck To Arms, Loss Of Arm Strength?

During the course of the last year and a half I have had a significant loss of strength in my right arm and near continues shoulder pain coupled with a pronounced loss of range of motion. I have also experienced a sort of electrical impulse that extends from the back of my neck and runs down both arms to my finger tips. My doctor said she thinks I may have a pinched nerve. Is there anything that you can tell me about this

This condition is known as cervical spondylitis. It occurs more commonly when a person keep his neck in same position for long time. Other cause is involved in lot of jerky travelling. I would advice you following things.
1. Wear a soft cervical coller
2.avoid using high pillow
3. Tablet gabapentin and methylcobal daily
4. Neck traction physiotherapy
5. You may need surgery if weakness increases.
