What Causes Elevated CRP And SED Rate While Having The Stomach Flu?

My 58 year old Down Syndrome sister with g-tube had a stomach virus where she was vomiting & had diarrhea. It lasted @ 14 hours. The next weekend her doctor ran her SED rate & it was 87 & CRP which was 48.2. ANA was negative. Could elevated SED rate & CRP be from stomach virus days ago??

I really appreciate your concern, if the symptom of diarrhea is due to virus infection then it may take little more time to come around here the important is to take care of dehydration, and secondary infection the test report done here and are elevated may not be due to the virus infection hope this information helps.
