What Causes Elevated CRP Level, dizziness And Tachycardia?

Hi, I'm a 28 year old female, 5'4, 207lbs....I have had a broken, rotten tooth for sometime now due to not having dental insurance .... Could this be reasons for my intensified anxiety and lightheadedness and dizzines and elevated high CRP blood level on a recent blood testt? They tested my thyroid because I did have thyroid issues in the past but that came back slightly elevated, but doctor said not enough to cause my problems. The CRP was ran because while working out last week i had an episode of tracacardia where my pulse jumped up to 236bpm for and a min then jumped back down to 98.... My ekg came back fine... I just would like some insight because my DR was only helpful in raising my anxiety

Hi,

I passed carefully through your question and would explain that the increased CRP could be related to an infection. For this reason, I recommend performing a tooth X-ray study for possible infection and other tests:

- a chest X ray study
- a cardiac ultrasound to examine your heart
- blood electrolytes for any possible imbalances
- a urine analysis and urine bacterial culture for infection
- an ambulatory 24-48 hours ECG monitoring in order to examine your heart rhythm trends for a prolonged time and exclude possible cardiac arrhythmia.

If all the above tests result normal, you should consider anxiety as the main cause of increased heart rate. You should discuss with his doctor on the above tests.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ilir Sharka,
