Hi and Welcome to 'Ask A Doctor' service.
I have read your question and here is my advice.
Sorry to hear of his sufferings, we appreciate your efforts as well and understand the stress of caring for such sick patients. Fursomide can reduce the amount of fluid in body and slightly increased urea, however it does not cause any gross increase in any of it, it does not increase the TSH. I thinks his elevated urea creatinine may indicate the compromised renal function of the patient because of his heart failure, and not because of frusomide. Similarly for the raised TSH, the free T3 T4 should be done to exactly know about thyroid function and manage accordingly.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Mahboob Ur Rahman
