What Causes Elevated Body Temperature And Redness On The Cheeks?

This has happened about four times and happened tonight. I get extremely hot all over like I think it is really hot in the room. Then my face gets red down my cheeks to my neck line. I cool down but my face stays red and looks and feels like a bad sunburn.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

It could be an allergic eruption or photodermatitis. As the first line of management, you can apply low potency steroid like betamethasone for symptomatic relief.

If symptoms persist, better to consult a dermatologist and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
