General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

If she does not experience abdominal pain now, there is no need to see a doctor. Urinary retention hurts. You can go for a control consultation at your own doctor's.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Anders Mark Christensen, General Surgeon
