What Causes Enlarged Eyes In A Child Diagnosed With Tuberous Sclerosis?

I have a five yr old son who has a dignosis of tuberous sclerosis complex. He just had a biopsy done in New Orleans on 12-30-11 after this procedure my child has been waking at 4am and staring at me. This scares the death out of me. His right eye is twitching and his eyes are extremly large out of his head. Can anyone explain to me what is going on?

Hi...by what you quote I feel that it could be a seizure keeping in mind the background of Tuberous Sclerosis. I suggest you consult your neurologist and get an EEG and MRI brain done. Protruding eyes could be due to the neurological manifestation of Tuberous Sclerosis.
