What Causes Episodes Of Anal Bleeding?

good afternoon, i have had two episodes of anul bleeding (large amounts) after going to the toilet over the last 5 weeks, and a little when wiping in between these. I havn't any pain. The blood is just red (not dark). I am 43years old and weigh just over 11stone and am 5ft 6in. I have family history of ovarian cancer, breast, thyroid and skin, but not my immediate parents. I must admit my alcohol consumption is more than it should be, but my diet is otherwise good.

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, bleeding per rectum could be due to anal fissures and hemorrhoid these are the common conditions seen, you can wait for few days because in second thought it could be due to diet, if the bleeding is still there then it has to be confirmed with clinical examination and without that it is difficult to say anything, but it may not be due to malignancy and it would be too early to say anything, hope this information helps.
