What Causes Episodes Of Convulsion With High Fever In Kids?

HI MY SON IS 2 YRS AND 9 MONTHS AND HE'S HAD 4 EPISODES OF CONVOLUTIONS AND WE DON'T GET SATISFYING ANSWERS FROM THE HOSPITALS HE'S BEEN. THEY START SUDDENLY OUT OF NO WHERE, HIS TEMPERATURE WOULD SKY ROCK JUST LIKE THAT. WHAT CAUSES THEM, DO WE NEED TO PERFORM THE MRI SCAN OR SEE A NEUROLOGIST.

Hi,
Thank you for asking question on health care magic.
Children between ages of 6 months to 6 years develop convulsions at the height of temperature.
They are known as febrile convulsions and are due to immaturity of the CNS.
Control temperature with paracetamol and tepid sponging to prevent convulsions.
During fever Frisium may be given for a few days temporarily with the advice of your doctor.
After 6 years they disappear.
No need to worry.
