Hello,

As per your clinical history is concerned, please follow like this:

1) Do a detailed clinical examination by your Doctor [Neurologist] and to confirm do few pathological tests like [Carotid ultrasonography and Arteriography of the brain].

2) Discuss [Anti-platelet drugs] and [Anticoagulants] for preventive and do permanent treatment after investigation only.

Do follow lifestyle modifications like this:

1) Try to avoid smoking.

2) Try to limit cholesterol and fat. Cutting back on cholesterol and fat, especially saturated fat and Trans fat, in your diet may reduce the buildup of plaques in your arteries.

3) Eat plenty of fruits and vegetables and limit sodium.

4) Do exercise regularly and limit alcohol intake.

5) Try to maintain a healthy weight.

6) Try to control diabetes. You can manage diabetes and high blood pressure with diet, exercise, weight control and, when necessary, medication.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Uday Nath Sahoo
