What Causes Erectile Dysfunction And Mood Swings When On Clonazepam?

Yes thank you, I m currently taking gabapentin, cipralex, and clonazepam. 600mg s to 1500mg s of gabapentin 20mg s of cipralex and 1 to 3mg s of clonazepam. I experience numb sensations in my hands and face erectile disfunction, excessive talking, emotional ups and downs rage issues also I m having trouble staying awake. This is having a negative toll on my life but without the drugs I become suicidal and violent. I really could use medical advice please I seem to be at an impass. Thank you kindly.

Hi there, unfortunately erectile dysfuntion is a known side effect of both Gabapentin and Clonazepam.
While mood swings is a known side effect of Clonazepam, it is rare in case of Gabapentin.
Clonazepam can also cause fatigue and sleepiness.
Though these side effects are very disturbing remember your doctor prescribed these drugs for your benefit after considering all the pros and cons so kindly consult your doctor before any change in medications. thank you.
