What Causes Excessive Menstrual Flow In A Woman With PCOS?
Hi im a 27 year old female and i am concerned about my well-being. I was diagnosed with PCOS in 2014. I recently been having my period regularly like i should but this month has lasted a little long then usual. Tts been 13 days and still bleeding. I am not sure what might be causing it. Could this have to do with my PCOS?
Menstrual irregularities including heavy bleeding can happen in patients with PCOS. As a first like management you can take drugs like Tranexemic acid to control bleeding. If symptoms persist better to consult a gynecologist and get evaluated.
