Hi,I am Dr. Subhankar Chakraborty (Gastroenterologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Excessive Saliva In Mouth Every Time After Eating?
Right after I eat something, it seems as though my body overreacts and I get excess saliva and a parched feeling in my mouth. I also never feel satisfied, like I'm still hungry after I eat. I'm fine in the morning and the condition gets worse as the day goes on.
Since when you have excessive saliva in the mouth?
There are many causes of this issue such as GERD, rabies, niacinamide deficiency, gastroparesis, anxiety, pregnancy or serotonin syndrome etcetera. Until examination is done, it is difficult to say what it is.
Avoid spicy food, alcohol, smoking and caffeine drinks. Use tablet Pantoprazole before breakfast for one week. If symptoms not improved, then please consult your doctor so that he will examine and treat you accordingly.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Penchila Prasad Kandikattu
