What Causes Excessive Sleepiness After An Angiogram?

my husband just had an angiogram. They did not put stint because there was more blockage than expected. Is it normal for him to change sleeping habits. He is falling asleep in a second. This has never happened to him. We have been married for 26 years.

Hi There

I understand your concern for your husband

I would like to tell you that angiogram is only a diagnostic procedure that has no effect on sleeping pattern. You must check his blood pressure if it is staying low or go through his medicines if he was prescribed any sedatives medicine if yes then consult with his treating doctor and ask if he can stop using that medicine.

Hopefully this will help

Kind Regards
Dr Navneet Mahajan
