What Causes Excessive Sleepiness While Driving?
i have been close to going asleep when driving since i was younger 45 yrs ago . and probably have ,i ve seen all kind off drs, had all kind of tests ,and have had some health issues. now at retirement age would like to be able to travel to see mt family more but can t trust myself driving , so any ideas

Hi,
You are complaining of excessive sleepiness. I want to know whether you have this problem only while driving or the whole day.
You can do further work up in the form of serum TSH estimation to rule out thyroid problem like hypothyroidism. Polysomnography like sleep study can be done if excess daytime sleepiness present. Kindly mention which reports has been done to guide you further.
