What Causes Excessive Sleepiness While On Venlafaxine And Losartan?

I have been feeling sleepy and sluggish I could sleep sleep sleep and I have to push my self. I am 62 and I am borderline diabetic so I try to watch what I eat. I take venlafaxine for depression and Losartan for blood pressure. I was looking to see if my medication could me making me sleepy and weak

Sleepiness can occur in up to 20% of persons (20 out of 100) persons, who use this medication.
You may be in this group of persons

If it is intolerable and affecting your way of life then you may need to consider speaking to your doctor to see if changes can be made.
