What Causes Excessive Sweating During The Night While On Prednisone?
Hello, I am a 71 year old female that has just finished an 8 week course of treatment for IBD. Prior to starting the Prednisone and after I finished the course of treatment, I have been waking up 3-4 times a night with profuse sweating...to the point where I need to change my nightclothes. I am literally soaking wet. No one seems to have answers. Could you please supply some helpful information? I am feeling fine, other then the 3x a night awakening. Other then the IBD, I am in good health. Thank you!

Thank for choosing HCM, certain conditions are there as long as the excessive perspiration is concern, like endocrine dysfunction, anemia, hormone changes and physiological, underlying cause of this is matter of concern, if is physiological then it is nothing to worry, but it is not due to IBD, I would suggest to get done the hemoglobin test, hope this information helps.
