What Causes Excruciating Pain In The Shoulder And Elbow Stiffness?
I have shoulder pain that gets intense when I move my arm across in front of my body, as when trying to take a shirt off, or reach behind my back. I cannot do those things without excrutiating pain that goes down into my upper arm. I have general pain pretty much throughout the day. My elbow area gets super stiff at hurts night when I sleep and I cannot lay on the affected shoulder. I don t remember injuring myself. Any idea what this might be? Thank you!

It might be a simple musculoskeletal pain but we have to rule out conditions like rotator cuff injury also.
You can take analgesics like Ibuprofen or Diclofenac for pain relief.
