What Causes Extreme Emotional Outbursts?
Hi, so I go to see a broadway show at our local dinner theater, Man of La Mancha. I am a 60 yo female healthy, thank God. Why do I get emotional during these things. When I hear music in particular. It happens in Church and other places where there is music. So I guess it s the music that makes me like this, with tears streaming down my face and such. What the heck causes this?

Music can be very powerful and can stir up the emotions. If you do not feel anxious, depressed or upset at other times then it is probably just your response to the music. If you do have symptoms at other times then talk to your doctor about this.
