What Causes Extreme Fatigue With Eyes Rolling Back Before Bowel Movement?
Hello. I experience extreme fatigue (fall asleep, eyes roll back in their sockets, etc) as a bowel movement approaches. The fatigue is accompanied by overall malaise and flu-like achiness. Once I finally get the signal and do have a b.m. I wake right up and notice an almost immediate improvement in the other symptoms. This takes place on an almost daily basis and is quite debilitating. Have you ever heard or read about this combination of symptoms? I have been scoped up and down numerous times with no findings. Irritable bowel syndrome really doesn t cut it as a diagnosis. Thank you.
Hi. Thanks for your query,. Noted your typical symptoms of eyes rolling back, extreme fatiguemalaise, flu like ache and finally you get the signal and pass the BM to get a relief. We can say this is somewhat like IBS, but this is actually an exaggerated Vaso-vagal symptoms due to overactive parasympathetic system and hence occurs daily. Hence do not worry. You can consult a Neurologist or a Gastroenterologist and get a proper treatment and you will be fine.
