What Causes Extremely Smelly Flatulence?

Hi. My partner suffers from exceptionally smelly wind that tends to linger. Even after going to the toilet, which he does regularly, he still tends to get a lot of wind. He's not overweight, although he does eat a lot, but it doesn't go anywhere. Is there a reason to why they smell so much? They make me gag!

The smelly flatulence indicates an odor-producing bacterial infection of the colon altering gut flora mechanics. As per the condition, primary relief with pro kinetics, and avoidance of smoking if doing.
