What Causes Eye Itching With Redness?

Good evening Doctor
I am 24, 6 ft, 136 pounds and I carry an ulterasive colitis. Since about two weeks ago a portion of my right eye started getting red. I have no pain, I am not bothered by lights and under very rare circumstances, I felt like my eye is itching which is gone by now but red remains.

I have heard it might be iritis.

Can you provide me with your advice on it?

you are suffering from ulcerative colitis which is a auto immune dis order.there may be uveitis. in which there will be red ness but no discharge. examination of anterior chamber by slit lamp can confirm this. For this steroid drop like wysolone will clear it. It should be tapered.since itching is gone no treatment is required.
