What Causes Eye Twitching When Diagnosed With Aura Migraine?

Hello, I have ended up in the hospital over the past few years with what doctors say is aura migraines. I have been on IV s and had ECG s but never an CAT scan or anything like that. I had 3 attacks in 2015 and then 2 so far in 2017. I have noticed that weeks before every attack my eyes begin twitching at least 20 times a day. I am not sure what to do

I agree with you on the fact that further tests are necessary to investigate for the possible causes underlying your symptoms.
For this reason, I would recommend performing these tests:
- a brain MRI study with gadolinium enhancement
- an EEG to exclude seizures
- thyroid hormone levels to exclude possible thyroid gland dysfunction
- blood electrolytes
- complete blood count, PCR, sedimentation rate for inflammation.
