General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

I am sorry that you feel unwell but it is not likely that the tubal ligation is the cause of your symptoms.

In tubal ligation, the fallopian tubes are tied off or cut but there are no surgical changes made to the ovaries where some of the hormones are produced.

It would be best to be assessed by your doctor to try and find the cause of your symptoms. In addition to a thorough history, examination and blood would be necessary to find the underlying cause.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Michelle Gibson James, General & Family Physician
