What Causes Faeces Smell Bad?

For the years following my liver disease treatments, I've found my feces smells musty. I have never been diagnosed with PSC but the Dr finds that treating me for it is working in my case. I haven't ever had a successful ERCP/MRCP because I'm rewired after having over half of my liver removed (as they found it to be cirrhotic)...
