Hi,I am Dr. Andrew Rynne (Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I fainted the other night and came back after 20 seconds. I am tired and it has been 1 day and a half. Will this feeling last long? I am 60 and recently lost 17 lbs and am on blood pressure meds but take my blood pressure on a daily basis. I had played some tennis and was having a glass of wine with several of my friends and got dizzy and fainted but am still tired.

HI Thanks for posting your query to Healthcaremagic.
There are many causes for dizziness . Some are simple but some are serious causes . Common causes are Abnormal Blood pressure , Abnormal Blood sugars , Abnormal Blood Sodium Levels , Inner ear problems , Heart or Brain Problems .
Since you are on BP medications first get your BP checked to see whether its in normal range or not . If it's Normal then get an EKG , Blood sugars and Serum Sodium levels tested . I any abnormality comes out of these tests then correcting them will make you better.
If they are also normal then get examined by an ENT doctor , ask him to do DIX Hallpike Manoeuvre.
Kindly revert back after all these tests .
Any clarifications or Queries feel free to ask. Happy to help you. Regards.
