What Causes Faster Heart Beat To A 8 Year Old?

My 8 year old son sometimes has a very heavy heartbeat. He's a really skinny kid so were thinking its just because he has little meat on his bones, but were still concerned. It doesn't happen all the time, and sometimes when it happens he is barely excursing himself and it happens

If the child is having faster heart or he is conscious of his heart beat (Palpitation) it is better to take an ECG and rule out Arrythmias of the heart.
Better consult pediatrician.
