What Causes Fatigue After Getting A Flu Shot?

My husband who is 55 has Fatigue since Tuesday and left foot numb since Wednesday. Today he all day his right face is numb. He was at the Dr yesterday and they thought the fatigue maybe a reaction to the flu shot he got last week. The Dr did blood work.

Any immune stimulation (like the sinus infection I have right now) will cause fatigue due to a direct action of the immune hormones triggered by the immune reaction on the brain.
This does not explain serious stroke like symptoms and these imply a need for at least a head CT.
