What Causes Fatigue Along With Excessive Sleepiness While On Pre Natal Vitamins?

Hi i have been feeling SUPER TIRED N SLEEPY the last few weeks i am a 48 yr old female i have also been taking pre natal vitamins to help me with tiredness for bout 3 weeks now but hasn t really helped...i have lumps cysts on both breast n back in Sep. they grew a lil more n on right lymp node the last 2 weeks i have been feeling like lil needle sharp pains on n off, Im due for next Mammo 2/4/15 shld i wait or shld i go back to Dr.Im a lil worried There is so much Cancer in Our Fam. Thank you Do I have to pay for first time Question

Pre-natal vitamins will not cause you to feel sleepy or tired, and will certainly not prevent it either. In my opinion, the cysts you have can cause a bit of a hormonal imbalance which can in turn result in symptoms like lethargy and sleepiness.

The cysts can grow with time, but are mostly hormone dependant. If at all they are benign then they may grow a bit during the pre-menopausal stage of a womans life due to the hormonal fluctuations.

We also need to consider your age and the fact that menopause could be around the corner. So this could also be an added cause.

In conclusion, I do not really see any urgency in visiting your doctor or to rush to the ER, but if at all your symptoms get worse or intolerable then you should visit the ER or else you can wait till your appointment.
