What Causes Fatigue And Dizziness While On Tamsulosin?

my huband just had surgwry for blader tumor, a night later could not urinate, went to hospital and catheter inserted, dr put him om tamsulosin hcl 0.4 mg, he as low blood pressure, after taking it the next night the following morning he was so week and dizzy that he couln t get out of bed, he stopped taking it. is there anything else that he could take that does not lower blood pressure and by not taking this med, when he gets the catheter removed, will he again have problems urinating also is there something else he can take that won tveffect blood pressure

hi i see your concern to this problem

we need to give alfa blockers to these kind of pateints coz due to urine retention more over its also have Use in BPH pateints as these relaxes the bladder and help in complete voiding
yes these medicnes reduces the BP to a great extant and some patients have postural hypertension

so please keep in mind that you should take these medicines only at bed time

in my opinon i would like to suggest
tablet of tamsulosin+dutasetride at bed time only


and for rest of the tumor resecton on surgical basis urtheroscopy and exploratory surgery

followed by chemo thearpy

hope to see the positive response by these medicines
